Hatley Pointe Ski Resort (Formerly Wolf Ridge)Â is Asheville's closest option for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. The ski resort is also a short 30-minute drive to downtown Asheville so you can have the best of both worlds. It typically opens for ski activities in mid-December and closes down in mid-March.
