Brews & Bears is an after-hours summer event series & fundraiser at the Western North Carolina Nature Center that happens on the second Friday in May, June, July, and August from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. The events will feature beer from Highland Brewing; cider from Urban Orchard; food from Gypsy Queen Cuisine and Cecilia’s Food Truck, Simply Hot Dogs, and KONA Ice; and music by Mix 96.5, 98.1 The River, and 105.9 The Mountain. Tickets are $15 to $35, with options for members, non-members, and VIPs. During the events, you can:
- Watch Black Bears Uno and Ursa enjoy popsicle enrichment
- Learn how to help bears in the wild with BearWise
- Walk the park with your favorite drink in hand
- Support the wild animals you love through donations!
