Based on the classic holiday movie with a clever twist, Black Mountain Center for the Arts hosts It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. The show will run December 10-12 and 17-19. Friday and Saturday performances will take place from 7:00-9:00 PM while Sunday performances will take place from 2:00-4:00 PM.

The actors will portray numerous characters and sound effects will be done through Foley artists. Centered around the life of George Bailey, a generous and well-meaning man who has become too downcast and tired to continue living, it will take help from a lovable angel to show George what life would be like if he wasn’t born to have a change of heart and understand the true spirit of the holidays. Come enjoy this holiday classic like you've never seen it before!

Please note that BMCA requires proof of vaccination for indoor performances and are not accepting negative Covid tests for entry in lieu of vaccinations.

Find additional information and book tickets here. Tickets will be sold at a reduced capacity, so be sure to purcahse yours before they sell out!
