Black Mountain Sourwood Festival

The annual Sourwood Festival takes place every August in Black Mountain and has been around to welcome the Sourwood honey-selling season since 1977. This Sourwood honey-inspired festival is one of Black Mountain's yearly highlights that boasts around 150+ vendors who sell arts and crafts, local food including BBQ, vegetarian fare, custom ice-cream options, funnel cakes, corn on the cob, and more. The festival is kid-friendly and dog-friendly, and admission is completely free!
