The Carolina Mountain Cheese Festival returns on Sunday, October 6, 2024. The beloved event features the craft of cheese-making from the farm to the dinner table and also plenty of opportunities to purchase local cheese! Expect cheese-centered workshops, cheese pairings, demonstrations, and family-friendly fun (including adorable baby animals).
The festival's proceeds benefit the Western North Carolina Cheese Trail and its mission to "promote the production and sale of WNC artisan cheeses, facilitate consumer education, and encourage tourism to the region to benefit member producers."
Ticket levels:
11:30 AM (to unlimited) The Super Cheese Lover- 40 tickets only for $65 includes a bag, drink ticket, a sticker, cheese tasting table, and 30 extra minutes to shop and enjoy with no crowds.
12-2 PM VIP Cheesy - 75 tickets for $40 includes a bag and sticker and access to the cheese tasting table.
1-3 PM The Big Cheese - 150 tickets for $35 includes a sticker and access to the cheese tasting table
2:30-5 PM Cheese Supporter - 150 tickets for $25 includes some special cheese treats
3:30- 5 PM Cheese Experience- 300 tickets for $15 includes some special cheese treats, but you may wait a little longer in lines.
Please note: Tickets are needed for those ages 10 years and up. Pets are not permitted at the festival. This year's festival will be at Oak and Grist Distilling Company in Black Mountain.
