Several respondents voted for The Admiral in West Asheville whose website boasts of “seasonal freshness and creativity.” Mela made another responder’s choice, an restaurant featuring Indian food made from scratch, voted best Indian restaurant in Western North Carolina for six straight years. Rounding out the list were Ichiban of Biltmore Village in Asheville and Bouchon of Asheville which provides “French comfort food.”
