Enjoy a tranquil and spacious creek-side retreat in the heart of beautiful Montreat. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, largely one-level home features two living room areas, a completely private 2nd-floor primary suite with a full bath and private deck, a bright sunny kitchen, a spacious laundry room, WiFi, and streaming TV options. Treehaven sleeps six comfortably with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds.

For those who enjoy hiking, you are within walking distance (less than a half-mile) of 2 different trailheads that lead to hundreds of miles of gorgeous mountain trails. For town and city adventures, you are 1 mile to the heart of hip and friendly downtown Black Mountain with its boutiques, cafes, and restaurants, and less than 20 minutes to downtown Asheville, with its vibrant restaurant and music scene, endless shops, and the Biltmore Estate.

Treehaven is passionately pet friendly (with an additional pet fee), and includes a fenced yard and comfy dog beds, making it a retreat for your pups, too!

Being with family! Love Montreat where I vacationed as a child, my children vacationed and now we introduced Montreat to our grandchild and daughter-in-law.

This house is wonderful. Fenced yard for pets. Huge kitchen and den. Has lots of extra supplies -trash bags etc. highly recommend this house !

The home offered lots of options for both privacy and togetherness and the fenced-in yard was great.

Clean, comfortable with stunning views. The most relaxing vacation I've had in years. Cute home with all the amenities I needed. I loved having my little dog with me! Thank you for allowing him to stay.

Quiet and Comfortable in the Middle of Nature

We felt right at home the minute we walked in. The cottage is very clean, well-maintained and charmingly decorated. All the supplies we needed were provided (contrary to what is stated in the rental agreement - don't bother bringing sheets, towels, paper products or soaps). The cottage has plenty of room for 6 people, and since the bedrooms are spread out there was plenty of privacy. What was the best part, you ask? Two things: 1) It's location is an unadvertised surprise. The Montreat community is home to miles of low-trafficked hiking trails up a mountain. Google \"Montreat Trails\" for a map. There is also a rushing creek that runs behind the property you can hear from the bedroom in this residential neighborhood. 2) We were thrilled to share our long weekend escape with our family dog in this pet-friendly rental. They even provided an elevated dog bed and dog bowls. It couldn't have been better!

Our overall experience was very peaceful and restful. The house was very charming and great. We had a couple of maintenance issues that were addressed quickly. The beds in the home were very comfy. We did not find the couches to be comfortable at all. It would also have been great to have some chairs and/or a small table to enjoy for the charcoal grill outside. By the way, we are from Fernandina Beach, Florida not San Fernandino. Funny!

Everyone in our group enjoyed this house very much. It's cozy and yet big enough to offer privacy when needed. Convenient to Montreat Conference Center and nestled in the beautiful surrounding woods. A delightful week of rest and fellowship
