Built in the 1930s, and lovingly restored in 2022, this rustic cabin is just a 3-minute drive to the Mimosa Boat Landing on Lake James, making it the perfect getaway spot for couples, young families, or small groups looking for quality time in a cozy setting. Original stonework can be found throughout the property, including around the fire pit and outdoor chimney, and creates a charming outdoor space to unwind after a fun-filled day on the lake!

• Living area with gas-log fireplace, reclining chairs and sofa, and 21" TV with Roku for streaming.

• Original stonework patio with outdoor dining and wood-burning fire pit.
• A mini-split HVAC unit heats and cools the cabin.
• The driveway provides ample parking, with space for a boat trailer.

Please Note: This home is pet-friendly with a nonrefundable fee per pet (maximum of two dogs allowed). The unfinished basement, with lower-than-standard ceilings, has a washer & dryer available for guest use, and there is a small room adjacent to the laundry room with a small ping-pong table.

Overall

We loved Pine Knot Cabin. I wanted a cute rustic cabin as a temporary vacation home until we could move into our new house. The cabin was a perfect choice … like going back in time. Lots of character and particularly enjoyed being out on the porch swing admiring the surrounding trees. I would easily recommend to anyone looking for a change of pace.
