Parker House is located in the historic Montford area of Asheville.  It's an easy walk to downtown Asheville, where you will find fabulous restaurants, live music, art galleries, and shopping.  

Apartment B is a two-bedroom, one-bath apartment on the upper level of the house. It has all the modern-day conveniences to be a home away from home. Equipped with wifi, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu with live TV, washer/dryer, and all the essentials necessary for comfortable living. 

Apartment Layout:
Living room with TV;  fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher and Keurig, seating for 2 at kitchen island; also a dining table in the alcove area; front bedroom with a queen bed; a full hall bath with walk-in shower; back bedroom with a queen bed; laundry room.

Please Note: The apartment is rented monthly. Included with the monthly rent is a $100 power allowance per month and a $50 water allowance per month. Any overage is to be reimbursed by the tenant. On-street parking is available for Apt A. Driveway parking is reserved for Apt B (upper level).

Charming unit in fantastic location

A lovely month-long stay in the upper level of Parker House. This is an older unit, but has been furnished and decorated in a nice contemporary style as reflected in the photos. Best features: Location - cute, quiet, safe neighborhood just a 10 minute walk from the bustling downtown and 5-10 minute walk from multiple grocery stores (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Harris Teeter); 2 queen-sized beds; nicely designed unit and a smart use of a small space; smart TV; 1 bedroom has a proper desk if you are working remotely. Gorgeous tree-line views out of the back bedroom where we enjoyed watching bunnies, birds, and an adorable muskrat every night. We met the owner briefly as he was doing some landscaping and he was incredibly kind & helpful! Challenges for a month-long stay: very small bathroom with no counter space, only 1 mirror outside the bathroom in one of the bedrooms. Fine for low-maintenance folks but if you have a long 'getting ready' routine you won't be comfortable. "Non-stick" kitchen pans have worn out and were not good to cook with, we gave up on cooking after our first week. Small sofa. A great option for a 'home base' near downtown Asheville in a cute, walkable, safe neighborhood!

The apartment was well equipped and had plenty of room, especially storage space. It was close to so much- restaurants, museums, a greenway, grocery stores, all within walking distance. The neighborhood was great as well!

The location of this rental is prime! Walkable to major grocery stores, as well as all of the downtown breweries and restaurants.

Apartment itself is perfect size and space for an extended stay. Well decorated and charming place.

Greybeard team was quick and responsive on any needs we had throughout our stay
10/10 would recommend!

WHERE IS THIS HOUSE LOCATED?

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you need to cancel your reservation and the property you had reserved re-rents for the time which you had it reserved, you will be refunded all money you had paid minus an $89 cancellation fee. If you cancel and the property does not re-rent for your reserved dates, you will lose all money you have paid to that point. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase trip insurance. Please call 888-228-8008 before making a reservation if you have questions or concerns.

WHEN IS THE SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUNDED?

Security deposits are returned within 30 days of guest departure.

WHAT ARE CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT TIMES?

Check-in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. It is important that we adhere to these times, because there is a chance that someone else will be checking out/in before or after you and we need sufficient time to ready the house for the next renter. If you wish to check-in early, there is a $50 early check-in fee that can be added on to your reservation. Early check-in is only available if someone is not checking out on the morning of your arrival.

WHERE DO WE CHECK-IN/PICK UP KEYS?

You will receive check-in instructions prior to your arrival with driving directions and key access information. You do not need to stop by our office to pick up your keys. You will go straight to the house and check-in starting at 4pm

WHAT IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY DURING OUR STAY?

If you are having a medical emergency, dial 911 from the phone in your rental home or cell phone.

We hope that your stay in the area will be relaxing and without incident, but should you need to get in touch with Greybeard, we have someone on call 24 hours a day. Just call our office at 828-669-1072 and select option 1, which will forward to the cell phone of the person on call. Please do not hesitate to call us if something needs immediate attention, but if your question or concern can wait, we ask that you call the office during normal office hours.

IS THERE AN OUTDOOR FIRE PIT? 

This home does not provide an outdoor fire pit. Absolutely NO fires are permitted outside unless the property is fitted with a fire ring/fire pit, and you cannot bring your own portable fire pit. 

IS WIFI SERVICE INCLUDED WITH MY RENTAL RESERVATION? WILL I HAVE CELL PHONE SERVICE AT MY RENTAL?

Wifi is available at Parker House Apt B. Please note that Greybeard Rentals does not guarantee internet connectivity or speed. Each individual homeowner contracts directly with an internet service provider, and due to a variety of reasons, Greybeard does not guarantee service. Our Black Mountain and Asheville offices have wifi service available if needed.

Cell phone service is not guaranteed. You may check with your service provider to see if service is available.
