This theater also boasts reserved seating with luxury loungers for ultimate comfort while you're enjoying popular movies. about a 15-minute drive from downtown Asheville and also has a nice setting in Biltmore Park with many surrounding eateries and shopping. - Artsy, but laid-back fine arts theater in the heart of downtown. Asheville Fine Arts Theatre is a really cool spot that typically runs 2-3 films at a time. The theatre specializes in first-run, art and independent films. You can also grab a bag of popcorn and beer to enjoy.
- A true local film experience. The Grail Moviehouse is another locally owned theater which is known for locally produced content, and a continuous rotation of mainstream, and thought-provoking films on its three screens. The go-local vibe extends to concessions as local beer favorites such as Highland Brewing Company, Burial Beer, Pisgah Brewing and Noble Cider are served along with Poppy popcorn.
- Pizza and three dollar movie tickets. Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company really gets the title for the most unique movie-watching experience in Asheville. Not only do they make delicious pizzas, they also brew their own beer like the Perfect Day IPA, Ninjabread Porter, Rocket Girl Lager and a stock of other local and regional favorites. You can enjoy pizza and beer while watching $3 movies. The movies that are shown have typically been out for a year or two, but they usually have a good film playing. Just make sure to pick up your tickets early as they sell out quickly, especially on weekends.
