Asheville's US Cellular Center will be the location of the international sporting event, The Fed Cup -- the world cup of women's tennis, in 2019. The event will take place on February 9-10 with First Round tie vs. Australia. In 2018, world-renowned players like Sloane Stephens and Coco Vandeweghe, Venus and Serena Williams competed in Asheville. US team members will be announced a few weeks before the First-Round of a best-of-five match series.
The US Cellular Center can accommodate up to 5000 people, and the event is expected to sell out.
Two-day tickets are sold at rates ranging from $50-$250 and single-day tickets are sold at rates between $30-$135 per day.
