Hop on board the Holly Jolly Christmas Trolley for a fun and festive celebration of the season including live music and caroling! This seasonal favorite is the perfect family activity to do with the kids in Asheville. It features an entertaining blend of holiday storytelling and traditional Christmas caroling. Haven’t been caroling in a while? Not to worry! Songbooks will be provided for use during the tour.
Enjoy stories of local lore and holiday traditions, then join in with their onboard musician singing classic carols and songs of Christmas all the while the Holly Jolly Trolley is rolling past festive holiday decorations in downtown Asheville, Biltmore Village, and the Montford and Grove Park neighborhoods.
The tours are approximately 75 minutes and take place from mid-November through December (Monday-Saturday) starting at 7 PM. While reservations are required, “walk-ups” without reservations will be welcomed aboard on a space-available basis. Children under 5 years of age are carried free but must be able to sit in the accompanying adult’s lap. If you have more children (under 5) that can be lap-held you will need to buy them a ticket so they have a seat. Guests without a seat are not permitted to ride.
