This beloved summer tradition showcases family favorite films on a large outdoor screen in Pack Square Park (80 Court Plaza) in downtown Asheville at no charge! Don't forget to bring blankets, folding chairs, and money for treats like snow cones and kettle corn. Dress as your favorite characters, bring your friends, and enjoy those cool Asheville summer nights!
2024 Movie Lineup:
- May 10: Wonka (PG for some violence, mild language, and thematic elements) – Kids receive free 2 oz. bottles of bubbles while supplies last. Begins around 8:25 PM.
- June 14: Barbie (PG-13 for suggestive references and brief language) – First 300 kids can snag free pink and black sunglasses with UV400 lenses providing 100% UVA and UVB protection. Begins around 8:45 PM.
- July 12: Guardians of the Galaxy (PG-13 for some language and intense sci-fi action/violence) – First 300 kids get free Recycling Raccoon coloring books. Begins around 8:45 PM.
- August 9: Toy Story (G) – First 150 kids get a unique rubber duck toy that changes color in water. Begins around 8:25 PM.
