Due to Hurricane Helene, there will be a Holiday Jamboree in place of the Annual Holiday Parade. The Asheville Holiday Jamboree will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11 AM in Pack Square Park with the theme of Winter Wonderland. Come enjoy group performances and a market comprised of local businesses and food trucks!
Celebrating 78 years, the annual Asheville Holiday Parade in downtown features over 100 entries including marching bands, dance and cheer squads, and colorful floats. The fun and festive event is the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season. The parade will begin at 11 AM and go until 12:30 PM, with streets closing and traffic beginning around 7 AM. Before the parade, there will be the Onesie One Miler hosted by Kick It Events at 10:30 AM. The Onesie One Miler is a festive downtown dash to the finish line that’s fun for the entire family!
Be sure to come early to find a spot along the one-mile route that travels up Biltmore Avenue from Charlotte Street towards Pack Square. Pack Square is the only performance area, and it's the location for WLOS TV cameras and judges. The parade then turns left on Patton Avenue and ends on French Broad Street.
With appearances from Santa from the North Pole and Sister Bad Habit from LaZoom Comedy Tours, this parade keeps Asheville weird while spreading plenty of holiday cheer!
