"A Dickens Christmas" returns to Historic Biltmore Village this December! Celebrating the history, culture, arts, and architectural treasure for which the Village has become renowned, the main events are scheduled for Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7, 2024. However, there will be holiday entertainment every Saturday (11 AM-3 PM) from November 30 through December 21!
For the last 30+ years, this annual holiday event has been delighting children of all ages and bringing the spirit of the holiday season to bear in Historic Biltmore Village. In the spirit of caroling and sharing holiday cheer, over two dozen roving Dickens-themed acts will be performed throughout Historic Biltmore Village, including dance groups, instrumental acts, bubble makers, mimes, jugglers, and more. Visitors are encouraged to complete their holiday shopping and dine in seasonal splendor.
New this year, the festival will feature a special “Letters to Santa” experience for children, a Village holiday decoration contest, a holiday-themed scavenger hunt, Christmas carol karaoke, and a Scrooge impersonation contest, to name just a few. Don't miss the tree lighting on Friday evening, December 6, or holiday treats like gourmet hot chocolate and freshly roasted chestnuts!
